Balazs Posta and Bence Kesthely purchased the franchising rights to Hungary, while a pair of Canadian Associates - Gabriel Bianchi and Romanian native Adrian Sischin - will establish RE/MAX Romania. Both are affiliated with RE/MAX Premier in Toronto, where Bianchi is the Broker/Owner.
Posta has been involved in the real estate industry for years as a developer and in the mortgage business. His most recent position was as director of real estate development for one of the more exclusive real estate developments in Budapest.
Kesthely, who is fluent in fluent in English, German and Hungarian, has worked both in commercial real estate and in the commercial printing industry. He holds a bachelor of arts in international management from Pepperdine University in Southern California and a diploma from American International School of Budapest.
"The quality of services provided by the majority of real estate agencies and agents in Hungary is below average," Kesthely says. "That is why Balazs and I bought the master franchise for Hungary. Our primary objective is introducing the quality and professionalism that RE/MAX has to offer to this region."
Sischin and Bianchi will temporarily operate from Canada, with plans to relocate the regional operations to Romania later this year. Sischin will serve as Regional Director.
Born in Romania in 1968, Sischin holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bucharest-Romania and came to Canada in 1996 to pursue a career in engineering management and consulting. His personal investing sparked an interest in real estate. After becoming licensed in Ontario, he joined Bianchi's RE/MAX office.
Bianchi began his career as an agent, and quickly graduated to ownership of his RE/MAX office. He is consistently a top producer and one of the most successful commercial agents in Canada.
"I believe in my native country," Sischin says. "I never forgot were I came from and would like to contribute everything I have learned in this country that adopted me ten years ago back to my homeland."
Bianchi also has strong confidence in the future of their new partnership.
"I love real estate and I love people," he says. "I believe that the Romanian people are highly intelligent and extremely motivated. Given the right tools and a first-class network such as RE/MAX, they will surprise and far exceed even their own expectations. The marketplace in Romania has exploded with real estate activity. I believe that RE/MAX and Romania are in the right place at the right time."
