Significant geographic features of Cyprus include the Trodos Mountains that occupy most of the southwestern part of Cyprus, the Five Fingers mountain range in the north of Cyprus stretching from west of Sadrazamkoy, Kyrenia all the way until the tip of the Karpas Peninsula. The beautiful Five Finger Mountain range is located very close to the sea shore and runs parallel to the east- west coast line of Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus, is covered with pine, carob and olive trees and verdant valleys fringed with golden beaches stretching for miles.
